The extension uses a hybrid approach. It automatically fetches updated blocking rules from a public GitHub repository, so fixes roll out instantly without waiting for extension store reviews. Users can optionally report new ad layouts directly from the extension to help keep the blocker effective.
Privacy and data handling:
The extension does not collect any personal data by default. When an ad report is submitted, chat content is redacted locally before being shared.
