Atlas Linkedin Capture

Atlas LinkedIn Capture is a recruiter productivity tool for users of the Atlas recruitment platform. It lets you save LinkedIn profiles into your Atlas workspace with a single click, so you can review, dedupe, and action them later inside Atlas — without copy-pasting URLs or switching tabs.

Who it's for Recruiters and sourcers who already have an Atlas account and want a faster way to collect LinkedIn profiles they come across during sourcing, business development, or candidate research.

Why install it

Saves time — one click instead of copy-pasting profile URLs into Atlas.
Keeps your pipeline organised — every captured profile lands in your Atlas review queue, tagged as Candidate, Contact, Both, or Lead.
Safe by design — nothing is scraped, nothing is sent on LinkedIn, and no outreach is triggered automatically. A human recruiter must approve every capture inside Atlas.
Optional sequencing — attach a job or BD sequence at capture time, which will only start after you approve the profile in Atlas.
How it works (see screenshots)

Step 1 — Open a LinkedIn profile and click the Atlas icon. On any linkedin.com/in/… page, click the Atlas extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. The popup opens and auto-detects the profile URL, showing it at the top so you can confirm you're capturing the right person. An "Authenticated" badge confirms your Atlas session is live.

Step 2 — Choose import type and (optionally) attach a sequence, then click Capture . Use the "Import as" dropdown to tag the profile as Candidate, Contact, Both, or Lead. Optionally pick an Atlas job sequence or BD sequence from the dropdowns — these will only start after you approve the capture inside Atlas. Click the green Capture button. The extension sends only the profile URL (plus your import choices) to your Atlas account.

Step 3 — Get instant confirmation. A green success message appears in the popup confirming the profile has been captured and queued for review in Atlas. No connection requests, messages, or outreach are sent on LinkedIn — the extension's job is done.

Step 4 — Review and approve inside Atlas. Open Atlas → LinkedIn Import. The captured profile appears in your Import Queue with its source, timestamp, and status. From here, a recruiter reviews it, dedupes against existing records, and approves it — at which point Atlas creates the Candidate/Contact record and (if a sequence was attached) starts outreach. Nothing happens automatically without that human approval step.

What it does NOT do

Does not scrape LinkedIn page content, connections, or messages.
Does not send connection requests or messages on your behalf.
Does not work without an Atlas account and access token — sign in at your Atlas workspace first, then paste your token into the extension's Settings page.
Required setup You need an active Atlas account. After installing, open the extension's Settings, paste your Atlas access token (found in Atlas under LinkedIn Import), and click Test to verify. Reviewers: a test account and token are provided in the "Notes for reviewers" field of this submission.

Privacy The extension only transmits the active LinkedIn profile URL plus your Atlas access token to your own Atlas workspace. No browsing history, no page content, and no personal data is collected or sold.
