Overview
AmbientMeta Privacy Guard detects and strips personal information from text before it reaches AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
When you type or paste text into an AI chatbot, sensitive data — names, emails, phone numbers, SSNs, credit card numbers, and more — is transmitted to third-party servers. Privacy Guard intercepts that text, highlights detected PII inline, and replaces it with privacy-safe placeholders in one click.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Type or paste text into any supported AI assistant
2. Detected PII is highlighted directly in the input field
3. Click "Sanitize" — placeholders replace the sensitive data
4. Your original text is held in an encrypted session cache for up to 24 hours, then permanently deleted

- Names, emails, phone numbers

- Physical addresses and dates of birth
