Samsung Chromebook Pro — Review #1 / Обзор #1 [HD] [w/ subs]

00:00:00 – samsung chromebook flow and before we
00:00:10 – even get started talking about this
00:00:12 – laptop tablet stylus thing there's a few
00:00:15 – things that you should know first
00:00:17 – it's a 549 dollar chrome OS device that
00:00:20 – can run real Andrew half-second it's a
00:00:23 – pretty darn good probook you notice a
00:00:25 – little expensive and third this pro is
00:00:28 – not coming out until April fourth it's
00:00:31 – actually a really good thing that it's
00:00:33 – not coming out until april because
00:00:35 – everything about those android apps i
00:00:36 – just mentioned are in beta and this
00:00:39 – isn't the good kind of gmail or iphone
00:00:42 – beta where you get to try new stuff
00:00:44 – which is a few bugs here there no this
00:00:47 – is the bad kind of data the kind you
00:00:49 – don't actually want to use yet so what's
00:00:53 – it really like living in beta
00:00:57 – ok let's dig in here
00:01:05 – samsung is actually releasing two
00:01:06 – different Chromebooks this year this is
00:01:09 – the pro which has a faster intel
00:01:11 – processor it's gonna be black when it's
00:01:13 – released in april this is just a
00:01:14 – pre-production unit but there's also the
00:01:16 – Chromebook plus which is 449 dollars and
00:01:20 – has a slower arm processor but it's
00:01:22 – coming out right away we tested that too
00:01:24 – and the time it can't handle quite as
00:01:26 – many browser tabs but it does way better
00:01:29 – than you might expect from its pokey
00:01:30 – processor you may have noticed that i
00:01:32 – can flip this thing around and use it as
00:01:34 – a tablet except well it's a really
00:01:37 – crappy tablet you can't split screen
00:01:39 – stuff yet and android apps on chrome are
00:01:41 – still in beta
00:01:43 – it's just incredibly lucky here's one
00:01:45 – example albums adventure
00:01:47 – it's a great game it's pretty simple but
00:01:49 – when i tried to play it the frame rate
00:01:51 – was so low that i kept on crashing it
00:01:53 – just doesn't work yet the same thing
00:01:55 – happens with other games like asphalt 8
00:01:57 – you just can't play it i hope the google
00:01:59 – gets it all six and soon because the
00:02:02 – idea of a Chromebook with relapse is
00:02:04 – enough to make me wonder if I even need
00:02:06 – a mac or windows pc and so the app
00:02:09 – basics here are actually good
00:02:11 – microsoft excel on android is
00:02:13 – surprisingly great and adobe has begun
00:02:15 – to optimize some of these apps for the
00:02:17 – big screen
00:02:18 – they're not as powerful as the real
00:02:20 – thing but they might be enough for me
00:02:21 – just as a Chromebook the pro is solid
00:02:24 – I can get 15 tabs or more going without
00:02:27 – a hiccup and the battery life lasts over
00:02:29 – nine hours for me which is more than
00:02:31 – enough and the hardware is fine it's
00:02:33 – solid and its really well build but it's
00:02:36 – not the prettiest thing it's fairly
00:02:38 – light it weighs less than two-and-a-half
00:02:39 – pounds and it feels really sturdy you
00:02:42 – can charge it from either of two USBC
00:02:44 – forces one on either side and even has a
00:02:46 – memory expansion slot it is annoying
00:02:48 – that the keyboard isn't backlit but
00:02:50 – that's really my only major complaint it
00:02:53 – comes with a stylus which is pretty cool
00:02:55 – when you pull it out that lets you
00:02:56 – screen grab stuff and then draw it like
00:02:58 – this
00:02:59 – or you can just take quick notes and
00:03:01 – then Google keep will translate your
00:03:03 – scribbles into txt now the input lag
00:03:06 – isn't very good
00:03:07 – it's nowhere near as good as you get on
00:03:08 – an ipad pro or a surface but google says
00:03:11 – that it's going to start using machine
00:03:13 – learning to make it seem better
00:03:14 – it's a neat idea but again it's just not
00:03:17 – ready yet you my Chromebook because it
00:03:19 – just works and it stays out of your way
00:03:21 – and the comic pro definitely does both
00:03:23 – of those things with a few more months
00:03:25 – of software work there could be
00:03:27 – something really great here and there
00:03:29 – going to be a ton of Chromebooks that
00:03:31 – are really compelling really soon with
00:03:33 – android app that styluses touch screens
00:03:36 – and all works at Google can pull it off
00:03:37 – it could get cheap windows laptops a run
00:03:40 – for their money but google has not
00:03:42 – pulled it off yet
