HOW TO MAKE YOUR CHROMEBOOK 10 TIMES BETTER! [w/ subs]

00:00:00 – wait a second I stepped on a crack I'm
00:00:12 – going to try to make your lives like a
00:00:14 – little bit more interesting it depends
00:00:16 – on how much you really care about the
00:00:17 – topic I'm talking about so if you go to
00:00:19 – my school you probably have one of these
00:00:21 – it's a Chromebook so everyone gets one
00:00:27 – of these at the start of the year um
00:00:29 – it's what you use for your school
00:00:30 – assignments so like in case you don't
00:00:33 – have a computer at home they provide you
00:00:35 – with one will they give one to everyone
00:00:36 – but I happen to have a computer at home
00:00:39 – so I don't really use this a lot unless
00:00:42 – on inside school and really once you
00:00:44 – learn everything about it and the
00:00:46 – operating system and everything there
00:00:48 – isn't that many likes things you can do
00:00:49 – with it as for a desktop it's like super
00:00:53 – customizable so I'm going to show you
00:00:56 – how you can make this ten times better
00:00:58 – so here we have the main deal the
00:01:01 – Chromebook so to start off let's just
00:01:04 – say you're playing your cool math games
00:01:06 – because you know you gotta save the call
00:01:07 – of duty for after school so it's not
00:01:10 – that fun you know you have your keyboard
00:01:12 – you got to get close to screens pretty
00:01:14 – small you got turn your brightness up
00:01:17 – all the way to really get a good picture
00:01:18 – to go pros are capturing it very well
00:01:20 – but it's not very good i guess it's
00:01:24 – pretty simple so there's a few things
00:01:26 – you can do to make your enjoyment with
00:01:28 – the Chromebook a lot better look at you
00:01:31 – cannot see the keyboard so to start off
00:01:33 – like we said the screen small we can
00:01:35 – solve that with a bigger screen so this
00:01:38 – hdmi cable is running straight to my TV
00:01:40 – and lucky enough for us there's an hdmi
00:01:43 – port on the Chromebook so you're going
00:01:45 – to take your HDMI plug and you're just
00:01:47 – going to plug it into this little socket
00:01:49 – here on Chromebooks then you'll see
00:01:52 – something on the screen and then
00:01:54 – basically you have a connected to your
00:01:57 – TV so here it's much bigger depending on
00:02:00 – your TV it might act a little
00:02:02 – differently mine is kind of cutting the
00:02:04 – bottom little portion off but besides
00:02:06 – that everything looks pretty normal so
00:02:10 – right now my setup is a
00:02:13 – different so my Chromebooks here and
00:02:14 – then the TV is up there but how its
00:02:17 – configured right now is so that when i
00:02:19 – move my mouse up it doesn't go onto the
00:02:22 – screen I have to move it this way
00:02:24 – because it thinks the Chromebook is
00:02:25 – right next to the TV but in reality it's
00:02:27 – not and it's under the TV so if you're
00:02:29 – having a problem like this or the
00:02:31 – orientation isn't the way you want it
00:02:33 – you can easily fix that by Joyce your
00:02:37 – settings then you see device you go to
00:02:40 – display settings and then here we can
00:02:45 – see the samsung TV which is that TV and
00:02:50 – then the internal display which is the
00:02:52 – Colombo's display right here it might
00:02:54 – seem a little tricky but it's really not
00:02:56 – so if you see the internal display part
00:02:58 – highlighted make sure you don't have it
00:03:00 – on that click your external display or
00:03:03 – what it like right now- Samsung years
00:03:06 – might be different depending on what
00:03:09 – type of monitor you have our TV so you
00:03:11 – have to make sure you have it on your
00:03:13 – external display or else it's not going
00:03:15 – to work and it's going to mess up and
00:03:16 – it's going to think you're talking about
00:03:18 – the Chromebook display and then you can
00:03:20 – just drag it around wherever it is in
00:03:22 – relation to the internal display so you
00:03:24 – press down one finger on the mouse pad
00:03:26 – and then you take the other finger and
00:03:30 – then you move it around like this so I'm
00:03:33 – trying to move mine up right on top of
00:03:36 – it so I'm going to get it centered like
00:03:38 – right there if you look see how it's cut
00:03:41 – off we can probably change that by
00:03:43 – making it a little smaller so we'll go
00:03:46 – to UM 1600 x 1200 and then and then
00:03:53 – we're going to recenter it because it
00:03:54 – moves a little bit or I guess just keep
00:03:57 – it like that so if we press done then
00:04:02 – that means all the changes should be
00:04:04 – made if we look here yep it doesn't look
00:04:07 – like it's cut off anymore everything
00:04:09 – looks like it fits and then here's the
00:04:11 – magic part put this brightness a little
00:04:14 – up if we take our mouths and we scroll
00:04:17 – up it should be right here on the TV so
00:04:21 – we could scroll it down and then it's
00:04:23 – back here you can have fun with us and
00:04:25 – play around
00:04:26 – that may be returned a multi task so if
00:04:30 – we want to take this step further we can
00:04:33 – attach a wireless keyboard and a
00:04:35 – wireless mouse but basically you're
00:04:38 – going to take your dongle or whatever
00:04:40 – you're using you're going to plug it
00:04:42 – into one of the two existing USB ports
00:04:44 – in your Chromebook this will come really
00:04:46 – useful if you maybe want to play your
00:04:48 – cool math games or whatever you're doing
00:04:50 – from your bed or like the comfort of
00:04:51 – your sofa now you don't really want to
00:04:53 – be at a desk but you still want to get
00:04:56 – things done oh my gosh haha you thought
00:04:59 – we were done but we're not we need at
00:05:01 – least one more thing to make this
00:05:02 – awesome so you know you can't really
00:05:05 – have fun without music so let's play
00:05:08 – some music
00:05:14 – wait what the heck I can't really hear
00:05:22 – anything dude the Chromebook speakers
00:05:24 – are trash well they're not trash trash
00:05:29 – yeah the trash but don't fear guys
00:05:32 – there's two solutions to this if you
00:05:35 – have your Chromebook connected to your
00:05:36 – TV or monitor and it has speakers which
00:05:40 – probably most likely does then you're
00:05:43 – able to use those speakers and the audio
00:05:45 – will go through the hdmi as well to the
00:05:47 – TV and this works so you can really tell
00:05:57 – a difference is like i'd say at least
00:06:00 – five times louder and the sound quality
00:06:04 – spreader but that's not the only option
00:06:10 – so if you have external speakers like me
00:06:13 – on my desk then you'll probably like
00:06:15 – this tip i have the aux cord connecting
00:06:17 – to both of the speakers so here's the
00:06:20 – end part you can plug it in to the aux
00:06:22 – port on the Chromebook you can leave a
00:06:24 – volume a little louder and see right now
00:06:29 – it's quiet but this speaker can get so
00:06:31 – much love
00:06:32 – [Music]
00:06:39 – so as you guys can clearly see doing a
00:06:49 – few things tacoma can really change your
00:06:50 – experience you can make the screen
00:06:52 – bigger you can make the audio better you
00:06:55 – can make it controllable from pretty
00:06:57 – unfortunate and really if people all of
00:07:00 – these together it'll make like a super
00:07:02 – Chromebook so I hope you guys enjoyed
00:07:05 – this video please leave like it to talk
00:07:07 – to you know let's try to get to 20 likes
00:07:09 – and i'll try to make some more videos
00:07:11 – like this if you guys want me to leave
00:07:13 – some comments for ideas on more videos
00:07:15 – like this
00:07:17 – [Music]
